An IP is regulated by it's governing body, in the case of X-debt the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA), and are duty bound to offer best advice.

X-debt – helping you to find the best way out of debt

We understand how incredibly stressful being in debt can be and that most people do not know where to turn for help. If you don't know your options, things seem far worse. And you have to be wary of bad advice – advice based on a company's profits, and not your finances! It’s easy to see why so many people become confused.

X-debt provides genuinely independent debt advice, free and without obligation. We review all your finances with you, confidentially, in order to establish your financial situation. Only then do we recommend the best approach to solving your debt problems. The final decision lies with you. In the first instance you can take our Debt Test to see which option may be most suitable.

For less serious debts we can help with budgeting advice or informal arrangements with your creditors. In certain situations, we might suggest a consolidation loan or remortgage to clear your debts – but only if this is the right solution for you. If your debts are £15,000 or more, and you’re in regular employment or have a household monthly surplus income, an IVA is often the best solution. In the case please speak to us for IVA advice.
